Commuities included in the reciprocal borrowing agreement include Huron County, Waterloo Regional, Wellington County and Oxford County. A card can be obtained by presenting a piece of identification with their address (ie. drivier's license, age of majority card) at these locations.  Likewise, patrons of these libraries are welcome to get a card from West Perth Public Library by presenting a piece of identification with their address.

Interlibrary Loan

West Perth Public Library is also part of the INFO network of public libraries in Ontario.  If an item is unable to be found on the PCIN network, a request may be left at the desk and we will search the INFO database.  If the item is found in the database, it usually arrives in 2-3 weeks.

Public Internet Access

West Perth Public Library offers patrons 4 computers for access to the Internet.  2 of these computers are equipped with word processing software.  It is possible to take a chance that a computer is available when you visit.  However, to be assured a spot, please phone and book a time.

Meeting Space

There is a small meeting space on the upper floor of the addition, which is serviced by the elevator.  There is wireless internet access available as well as a projector screen.  The space is available for booking during regular library hours.

Books for Book Clubs

West Perth Public Library can supply enough copies of titles for book club meetings. Titles must be more than 1 year since publication and must be ordered in sufficient time to receive all copies before the meeting at which they are handed out. Please contact the library for further information and the book club form.

Chess Boards

Chess boards and playing pieces are available at the library for a pick-up game at any time if players come into the library. Please ask at the desk.
